Abstract
It is commonly understood that men and women differ in their pain experience. In this talk, we examine sex-bias in pain biology, physiology, perception, behavior, coping, chronification, and management. We also explore systemic racism and health inequity in pain management practices, and their impact on addressing women’s health.
