Our Success at AACR 2017

Washington D.C. is such an interesting city, and to be there for the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting this week was amazing. Thousands of scientists and professionals flocked to the Convention Center to watch cancer research experts relay their knowledge through lecture sessions and workshops. We were also able to attend the wonderful introductory speech by Joe Biden as he described the latest updates and happenings with the Moonshot Initiative, one of the largest cancer initiatives set to speed progress in cancer research and improve cancer prevention. We appreciate the multitude of visitors to the LabRoots booth! We thoroughly enjoyed talking with all of the conference participants who were excited to join LabRoots and receive a free t-shirt. As usual, the t-shirts were a huge hit! This year’s t-shirt design was in honor of those who have fought cancer or are fighting cancer. aacr-1 aacr-2             image-uploaded-from-iosIn addition to a successful conference this year, the LabRoots team was able to experience WashingtonD.C. From the White House to the Capitol building, the city houses such a fascinating array of architecture and government entities. We always look forward to the annual AACR conference and are already excited for next year! #LRfightcancer
